Mr Chichester; speaking at the Aero •Club dinner to-night, acknowledged 'he help given him by the Air Ministry, and also ,by :tlie Shell • Oil Company, declaring, that they bad attended to him well in social arrangements as well as in business matters.
The Wellington Aero Club presented him with a medal inscribed. “Francis Chichester, from Wellington Aero Club,, jn . recognition of- bis solo flight from England to Australia, 1929-30.”
