A young man, J. Rouse, a miner, living at Runanga, met with an accident on Sunday afternoon when riding his motor cycle along the Kotuku road. The machine skidded in some loose shingle, causing the rider to lose control, and be was thrown heavily to the ground, receiving cuts and bruises, and it is believed a fractured collar bone. Fortunately. Mr H. A. Templer happened to be driving along the road in bis car, and rendered assistance to Mr Rouse, and conveyed him to the Grey River Hospital, where on inquiry on Monday night bis condition was reported to be satisfactory.
