LATE LOCALS.

A well attended meeting of Arahura Settlers was held in the Hall on Monday' afternoon, Mr B. Ward, Chairman of the Dairy Factory presiding. The meeting was convened for the purpose of hearing an address from Mr Henne, supervisor of the Federated Herd Testing Association. Mr Henne had a cordial reception and gave an address extending over two hours. At the close those presentagreed to join in the movement, and Messrs Jellie, Cooke and Ditely were appointed an organising committee for the district.
