POESIDON DEAD. SYDNEY, February 10. The one-time 'famous racehorse, the winner of two Derbies, and two classic cups, Poseidon is dead, aged 27. Poseidon won nearly twenty thousand sterling, mostly as a ,three-year-old ip 1906. His son, Potent, which was the last of the thoroughbreds sired by hiifa, won the Armidale Cup last’week.
