MISSING BODIES.

PARIS, December 14

The mysterious disappearance of two fishermen of Berek-sur-Mer, near Le Touquet, recalling the unsolved murder of M.rs Wilson the Englishwoman found dead in May last year, near Le Touquet golf course, and the death of Nurse Daniels at Boulogne, whose body was foiled in February 1927, is occupying the police on the Channel coast. Two months ago Pierre Philippe Macquet, aged 55, owner of a fishing smack, put to sea with his neighbour, Alexandre Nabnr, for Le Crotoy at the mouth of the Somme, where he had arranged to sell the vessel. The two men were seen at Le Crotoy the following day. They returned to their boat in the estuary, but have never been seen since.

The police now have been informed that the two men were murdered, by some perron who awaited them in their ship and who buried their bodies in the sand dunes,,which line the coast.

So certain are the police that this is another case to be added to the list of murder mysteries which have earned unenviable notoriety for the Channel coast that they are seeking the jnm'derer» before trying to ascertain where the bodies are buried.
