An attempt will l>e made shortly in this country' to break the present air speed record of 357.7. miles per hour created by Squadron-Leader Orlebar at Calshot last September-. V The new attempt will be mhde in a Gloster-Nap-ier 6 which was built'-for the Schneider trophy race/ but did not participate to -trouble with-the - petrol feeding bystem.
