ALLEGED THEFT. U GRE Y MOUTH, February 7. John Clarence Casserley, aged .20, charged that on December 23rd last at Stillwater, being a Government employee, stole £6 9s 9d, the property of the Postmaster-General. He was reminded till Monday.

CONSTABLES GAOLED. WELLINGTON, Feb. 7. Two years’ hard labour was imposed by Judge Reed on two ex-constables concerned in the theft of goods from C. Smith Ltd. These were Stevenson and Ramm, the third man, White, getting 18 months’ reformative.
