(To the Editor). « Sir —We, the residents of the Old People’s Home, Hokitika, respectfully request you to convey our most sincere thanks to the Westland Motor Cornpan for the great treat they gave us to-day, in conveying us to Lake- Kanieri; also giving us a trip' on the lake in the launch and providing us with every refreshment in the tea rooms there and landing each and every one of us safely home again. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. We are etc., THE! OLD PEOPLE. Feb. 6th.
