A cricket match wa s played; at the State School yesterday between Hoki- . tika School and Reefton School. Hoki-'-tika batted first and made ’ 79 (F; Stapleton 30, Williams 14, 'Knowles 12, L. Morgan 8, M. Morgan 5.) McKane took 7 for 22, Woods 2. for 29, Waddell 1 for 18.
Reefton replied with 48 (Woods 26, McKane 8 and Mr Extras 6.) F; Stapleton took 2 for 18, J. Williams 6 for 20 and Adamson 2 for 1.
