The final of the Greymouth Bowling Club’s Championship was played between Messrs Miller and Mercer, the former winning on the last head. Mercer was one up at the last head, and his last bowl was laying the shot. Miller’s last bowl trailed the kitty, and he laid three, winning by two points ami giving him his first championship. three occasions. Runanga Bowling Club retained the Reynolds , Badges in a match against the Greymouth Club last evening, when the latter team journeyed to Runanga. Four rinks were played Runanga recording 104 points to Greymouth’s 86. Runanga also succeeded ‘in taking two Vinks played, between the Obits, the points being 45 to 39.
