In the Sheffield Shield match against Victoria, Queensland in the second innings made two hundred. Benstead Scored 79 and Hubbard. 65. In the bowling. Ironmonger took 3 for 51, Blackie 3 for 62, and Alexander 2 for 41. Victoria won by a innings and thirty-three runs.
Victoria now goes to Adelaide, and if it gains an outright win s>gaiust South Australia; it will capture the Shield from New South Wales.
