Prinio Camera, the Italian boxer, scaling 269 pounds, knocked out Rioux, scaling 210 pounds, in the first round of their scheduled ten round fight. The fight lasted only for 47 seconds, during which ltioux dropped to the floor live times. The final punch was a ; straight right cross of terrific power, under which ;|tioux doubled up and collapsed in a heap. SINGER BEATS LOAYZA NEW YORK, Jan 31. A 1 Singer, weighing 1341 pounds, took the decision in a ten rounds victory over Loayza, scaling 136-} pounds. The bout was exciting, but the issue was never in doubt, for Loayza, though game, was outhoxed from the start. BOXER’S COLLAPSE. .SYDNEY, Feb. 2. Vic. WIN ON A FOUL. NAPIER, Jan. 30. A boxing match at Hastings tonight ended in the fifth round, when Artie Hay (Hastings), welter champion of New Zealand, was awarded the verdict on a foul against E. Morgan, ex-amateur Olympic champion. Hay went down several times, and on rising at the count of nine, Morgan floored him again,before he had reached an upright position. The referee had no option but to award the fight to Hay, When Morgan seeined a certain winner.
