HOKITIKA V. RiUNAiNGA
The Runanga Club sent down a four rink team on Saturday to play a challenge game for the Reynolds Badges, and also a Colts riiik. The game ended in a win for Runanga by two points, two rinks on each side winning their games, while ltunanga Colts also were successful. The green was somewhat slower than usual following Friday night’s rain, but ran true. LadV members provided a dainty tea. Following the game the .Badges were handed ovei* by Mf Cooke (President) to Mr Rae, congratulating tlie team on their sutv cess and promising an early return visit. Mr Rae spoke on behalf of the visitors, presenting the trophies to Mr Chambers and his team. Cheers by both, teams, the ladies being specially honoured, concluded an enjoyable afternoon.
