The planet;'Mercury will l rise on .February Ist. at 4.6 a.ill. . and on February 15th. at 3.39 a.in.; during tne month its apparent magnitude will increase from 0.6 to 0.0 and it will continue to brighten until the middle of March. Venus will not he visible during the month, owing to its proximity to the sun. with which body it will he in conjunction on February 6th. Mars will rise bit February Is. at 4.9 a.m., and on February loth, at 4.10 a. in.; Jupiter will set on these "dates at 0.38 a.in. and 11.45 p.m. respectively, and Saturn will rise at 2.48 a.m. Mid 1.57 a.m. respectively.
