WOOL VALUES
AI FETING TO REVIEW POSITION
(Australian Press Association)
(Received this day at 9.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 1
Owing to a further decline in the wool values this week, arrangements have been made for a joint meeting of Australian Wool-growers’ Council, and the. National Council of Wool-Sell-ing brokers- in Melbourne next Wednesday to review the position. It is likely that a further curtailment of offerings will be discussed. Sales in Adelaide have been postponed as growers are very dissatisned with the present position. They would welcome any proposal for restoring confidence in. the market.
