Smith lias scored 5899, including breaks of 252, 234, 237, 386 and 264. In the. other match, McCbnachy has scored 9267, including breaks of 645 and ,1739. The latter is a personal record for U(-Conncliy. He also made one of 203. Newman lias scored 5551, including breaks of 362 and 647. LONDON, Jan. 31. In his billiards match, McConachy has reached the high water mark of his career with his break of 1,(39, mainly by toil of the table play, eclipsing his previous personal record of 1,630, made at Grimsby. Several difficult shots were negotiated in brilliant fashion. The feat was the greater as Newman also was in exceptional form.
