ADDINGTON STOCK SALE [By Telegraph, Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 29. There was a slightly larger yarding or fat cattle. Values firmed for most classes. Heavy sold: Steers £2l to £24 2s 6(1, prime £l7 os to £l9 os, medium £ls Jos to £l6 15s, light £ll os to £l3 10s; heavy heifers £l4 os t<» £l6 2s 6d, prime £l2 10s to £l3 10s, medium £9 os to £ll, plain £8 os tc £J ss, unfinished from £7 IPs. Extra heavy cows sold £l4 10s to £l6 12s 6d. prime £lO 10s to £ll 10s, medium £t 15s to £9 10s, plain £6 to £7 10s, inferior from £5 10s. There was a firm demand for all classes of store cattle.
