of the Church of the Ascension, Point Chevalier,. Auckland, that lie has produced a cure lor tuberculosis. No definite results, it is stated, have coiuo I from a discussion between Air Ward and the Medical Superintendent of tlie Pukeora Sanatorium (Dr Cl. McLean) concerning the efficacy of the cure. It is undei.stood that the Director-General of Health (Dr T. 11. A. VaJintine) has forwarded to the M mister <j recommendation that a suggestion that Mr Ward be allowed
to remain at the Sanatorium for a period sufficient to test, out bis treatment, and his salary be paid by the Health Department during that time, bo not adopted,
