Second round Patterson beat Tiilman 6—2, 6—l. , ' . ■ , •Men’s championship doubles:— Sehadick and Loclcey '/beat Stewart and Pierce 6- -0, 8—43. Ladies championship, doubles, round.— Misses Bailie arid Wilson beat Mesdames Walker and F°rd 9—5; Miss Lowe and Mrs Spicer beat Mrs Jones and Miss Reynolds 9—2. WELLINGTON, Jan. 30. The Tennis Championships were continued to-day at 10.30. The courts were dead. At eleven o’clock play was adjourned owing to a thunderstorm. Men’s singles, 3rd: round:—A. L. France beat Wallace 6—l, 6—3, 6—2. 4th. round—Malfroy is leading Sturt 7 5, 2—o. Angas leading Wilson 5—4. D. L. France and Stedman, 5 all. . . - '
