WOMEN CLERKS
BALLOT ON MARRIAGE BAD. [United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] LONDON, Jan. 26. A ballot was held by seven thousand women members of the Civil Service Clerical Association to ascertain their viewpoint on the marriage bar question. It has resulted in a surprisingly indecisive vote against the retention by women of positions after marriage.
