The track was on the shifty side, but the racing was keen in the majority of cases. A cross wind militated against fast times. The tote investments totalled £40,701 as against £29,993 10s for the summer meeting last year: Probationers’ Handicap:—(7) Brent Zolock 1, (6) Automatic 2, (8) Great de Oro 3. Won by 2* lengths.
