AUCKLAND APPEALS (liy Telegraph—Prea* Aaaociation). AUCKLAND, Jan. 23. All six of the Auckland telegraph officers who were recently dismissed from the service, after the Departmental inquiry into the charges connected with betting, have lodged appeal's under the Post and Telegraph Act. These will lie heard by the Post and Telegraph Appeal Board, at a sitting to be held in Auckland on February 4th.
