DOCTOR’S WIFE KILLED. (By Telegraph—Press Association). OAAIARU, Jan. 24. A fatal accident occurred at a coal mine on Dr D. G. Matheson’s property at- Knrow yesterday afternoon. Airs ATathesom took refreshments to the miners and then entered about a chain into the shaft, when a fall occurred. A miner went to the Waitaki Hxdro Works for help and 100 men assisted in the rescue work, which had piogressed a short distance when another fall occurred. Mrs Alatboson’s body was recovered at six this morning.
