EVERYBODYS PICTURES [REGINALD DENNYFRIDAY A rollicking, carefree, comedly that guarantees to keep the audience in an uproar from the. time it starts .until its final “fade out” will be the offering the the Princess Theatre next Friday. It is “Clear the Decks,” Regjiauld Denny's latest Universal If awe comedy. By all advance reports', it is his greatest comedy offering. The action of the story centering around various hilarious situations on board ship, it was necessary to take the entire company for a two week’s cruise on the Pacific in making the picture. Besides Denny and an unusually brilliant supporting cast, the entire production force, which in itself numbers more than sixty persons, and a special corps of “gag” men made the cruise on one of „the local coastal liners. The story is taken from the novel “When the Devil .Was Sick,” by E. J. Rath. The adaptation and . continuity were done by Earle Snell and Gladys Lehman, both of whom have been responsible for the scrips of several of Denny’s outstanding hits. Due to his excellent work in directing Denny in various other success, Joseph P. Henabery, was called in to wield the megaphone for “Clear the Decks.” The able cast appearing in support of the Universal comedy star, includes. such Wellknown screen players as Olive Hasbrouck, Lucieu Littlefield, Otis Har-,

lan, Colette Merton and Robert Anderson. A topical, comedy and serial will also be shown. Special selections by Mr Restieaux and his orchestra. ,
