Tlie second croquet 'test ended in a victory for Australia with two wins out of thrfee. “The final : Singles -matches was played in. a troublesome wind making shooting and placing, difficult. Ross (New Zealand captain) in excellent, forin, was the. outstanding player of the day. In the first game against McCleery he executed a difficult and unusual shot.-When wired at number one hoop, lie made a jump over the hoop and hit his own ball.
A triple peel was scored by Miller in both games against Cr|ed Meredith. Scores; —Ross (N.Z.);|beat McCleary (Australia) 26-17 26-19$Windsor (Australia) beat Stratton (N.Z.) 26-11, 26-12. Miller (Australia) beat Creed Meredith (N.Z.) 26-3, 26-0.
