At the Hati’v trial, Dean, treasurer of flie Swindon Borough gave evidence bearing out Mr Jowitt’s openning statement that Goodenough (Chairman of Barclay’s Bank) told the shareholders that the maximum losses of the bank in connection with Hatry troubles would possibly total three hundred and thirty . thousand sterling.
