Strenuous efforts were made yesterday to recover the bodies of the victims but were rendered futile on account of the terrible weather conditions on the Tasman Glacier. Another attempt was made to-day hut there is still unfavourable violent electrical storms accompanied by driving rain and hail in the Alps since Sundav morning. The chief Guide, Vic Williams, is in charge of the search party.
