TEST SELECTORS THROW A BOMB. (Australian Press Association) (Received this rlnv at noon.! SYDNEY, January 21. The Australian test team selector R. .Tones throw a bom!) into a meeting ot New South Wales Cricket Association by announcing the selectors had consulted a medical authority as to whether climatic conditions in England would affect Ponsford. Woodful, Oldfield and Jackson in view of their recent injuries and illness. The reply was “undoubtedly Yes”. As a result of this dramatic statement, the Associattion carried a resolution urging sixteen players ho sent to England.
