WESTPOT CARNIVAL

WESTPORT, Jan. 20
Despite showery weather a very successnnil swimming carnival was held this evening, with the- Lyall Bay swimmers, en route to Grey mouth for the championships, as competitors. Blakeley won the 220yds handicap; Huxford the 50 yards open handicap; Miss Radford the'ladies’ 50 yards handicap and Blakeley the 100 yards open handicap.
