The second day of the Wellington summer races was held in fine, but windy weather. - The attendance vas good and the course dead. The tote handled £48,993}, the corresponding day last year being £50,254. Mungaroa Highweight Handicap- , (2) King’s Jest 1, (6) Marsh am 2, (3) Fine Acre 3. Won by a length. Time 2.11}. Trial Plate:—-(8) Waterline 1, (1) Jaloux 2, (6) Gav Crest 3. Won by a length. Time 1.29. January Handicap:—(3) Great Charter 1, (10) Teri 2, (4) The Hawk 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.41};. Nursery Handicap(s) Green Linnet 1, (1) Awaken 2, (2) Jenny Diver 3. Won by a length. Time 1.14}. Wellington' R.C. Handicap: (3) Bright Glow 1, (ID Pride 2, (7) Latin Quarter 3. Won by half a length.
