"Wood (provisional ,subject to his reporting monthly number of horses in training). A. E. McMullan was granted a jockey’s license. F. Langstone was granted permission to work in Mr P. Johnstone’s stable at Hokitika. and A. Butler a jockey’s license conditional on him remaining in permanent employment. The Racing Conference forwarded' 7 an extract of the Stipendiary 'Steward, Mr A. S. Jones’ report' of tlwj. Summer Carnival, showing that R. B. Orange, at the Greymouth R. C. Meeting, was fined £2 by the starter for disobedience at the post, and put down for a day for crossing Huntley on The Dove. At the Westland R.C. meeting the same rider was fined £2 for disobedience .at the post. Reefton J.C., Westland R. 0., and Kumara R.C. forwarded their. Easter programmes for approval, same being granted. (
