BAY OF WHALES, January 15. Professor Gould’s geological party should he back here within a week. They have had a slow and troublesome trip back, being delayed for several clays beyond the crevassed area. To-day we received the following message from Professor-Gould: “Qould not wait any longer for better weather, ,so we left the trail entirely, and came north out of the crevasses into the light, for there was only milky visibiity. We picked up your trail again twelve hours later here. AYe are now eighty degrees twenty-seven minutes south : all going well.”
