AN EXHUMATION
ENQUIRY INTO MAN’S; DEATH. (By Telegraph — Per Press Association.) ' DUNEDIN, Jan. 17. On June, 21st last a man , named Henry Alexander Garston, aged 35, was found lying dead in a drain containing a few inches of water, in Kaikorai valley, and at the inquestr 5 " the Coroner brought in a verdict tliati, deceased died from exhaustion. His parents apparently considered that some other agencies had caused his death and engaged an enquiry agent to go into the matter... . The agent finally obtained permission from the Minister of Health to have the body exhumed. This took place on Wednesday , and the .body was removed to the morgue here. . It lvas examined by. Dr Doth who found, however, that it was practically impossible to come to any conclusions owing to the decomposed state, of .the remains. ; . Dr Dath removed the contents y cf the stomach and these may be analysed if it is considered necessary.’ The body was afterwards reinterrod. F- K
