The first of three test croquet jimateh.es for the Maeßobertson Shield between Australia and- New Zealand is' noyib being played. The outstanding feature has been three triple peels scored By Australia, which has never btfen done before in a test match. The results were: — Windsor and McCleory (Australia) Beat A. Ross and Mrs Smith (N.Z.) 26—T, 26-10. Miller beat Mrs Cole (N.Z.) 26—0, 26-0. Winthcrow beat H. Stratton (N.Z.) 26—19, 26—3. H. Stratton and Mrs Watkins <>(N,Z.) .beat Miller and Mrs »Miller f (Australia) 12—26, 26—12, 26—26. Crabb and WilitTierow beat Archdeacon Creed Meredith and Mrs Cole ‘(N.Z.) 26—15', 26—14.
