Johnson £484 9s 4d; Andrews Bros. £494 7s 10d; Woolhouse and Howat £530 Os 6d. The tender of J. Johnson was accepted. From A. L. Jones, applying for an increase of salary.—Received; and increased to £125 per year.
REPORTS. From Surgeon Superintendent reporting on December Ist there were 35 '.patients ini the hospital. Admitted during December 29 males, 22 females. . Total treated 48 males, 38 females—B6. Discharged cured 22 males, 24 females; discharged relieved 1 male, 1 female. Total discharged 23 males, 26 females. —49. In hospital 31st December, 25 males, 12 females. —37. In hospital for two months 5 males, 2 females.—7.—Received. Accounts amounting to £451 10s 7d were passed for payment. The Treasurer receipts £lOBl Os Id, payments £996 10s 9d, balance £1215? 19s Id.—Received. Mr Davidson moved that the Minister of Railways be applied to for the lease of reserve fronting the Board’s property.' Seconded by Mr Jeffries and carried. The House Committee reported that Misses Brand, Boyd and West had passed their examinations; recommending a disc plough be procured ; there were no requirements; gifts of Christmas Cheer were received.—Received; a hearty vote of thanks was passed to the donors,
