ROYAL WEDDING GIFTS.

AIAGXIFLUENT JEWELS.

LONDON, Nov. 23. Tlio King and Queen have sent a diamond and blue enamel brooch with the initials “G. AT.” surmounted by a diamond crown to Lady Anne Cavendish, the youngest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, who is to marry Mr Henry Hunloke at St. Margaret’s, Westminister, on I hursday. They have given . the bridegroom, who is the only son of Major Sir Philip and Lady Hunloke, of Crowbridge House, Malmesbury, Wiltshire, and who was a royal page, a pair of enamel cuff-links bearing the royal initials.

Each of these gifts is accompanied by a card in the Queen’s handwriting “With best wishes from the King and Queen.” Lady Anne, who is 20 years of age, is tall and has pale chestnut hair. She will wear a gown of cream satin antique, woven with gold lame. The straight Renaissance line of the gown blends into a long, voluminous train of the same material. With this she will wear a diaphanous cream tulle veil edged with gold lame thread, held in place by a Botticelli orangeblossom wrefith.

PAGES IN RED AND GOLD

The three ipages, David and John Stuart and Michael Baillie, who are nephews of the bride, will wear red and gold tunics trimmed with fur, and slung velvet capes' with red silk hose and red shoep. (Pile nine little bridesmaids, carrying bouquets of violets with streamers of gold ribbon, will he dressed in mediaeval gowns of geranium-colour-ed chiffon velvet, with close-fitting caps and gold shoes. They arc the Aliases Pamela and Jean Cobbokl, Lady Elizabeth Cavendish, the Misses Carol and Catherine Macmillan, and Aiiss Judith Baiilie, all nieces of the bride, and the Alisses Jonetta and Yvery Paynter, and ATiss Anne Fleming, nieces of the bridegroom. Hundreds of beautiful presents have been received by the bride and bridegroom. Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood and the Earl of Harewood have sent a Queen. Anne chair.

THE DUKE’S BEAUTIFUL GIFT

Princess Helena. Victoria and Princess Marie Louise have given a large antique glass flower vaso to the bride, and Princess Louise, Duchess of Argyll a water-colour picture to the bridegroom. Mr TTunloke’s gifts his bride are a diamond and sapphire bracelet and a huge diamond and sapphire cross. She has given him a novel and beautifitted pigskin dressing-case. The rff Devonshire has given his daughter a magnificent diamond necklace and pendant and the duchess all the household linen. The duchess has given the bridegroom a miniature of the bride.

Tim ceremony will ho, performed by the duke’s chaplain, the Rev. W. H. Pegg, Vicar of Edensor, Derbyshire, and the R!ot. 'Francis Clark, Fellow of Magdalene College, Cambridge. The. honeymoon will be spent in Italy.
