N.S.W. SHOOTING TRAGEDIES
TWO SHOCKING AFFAIRS

SYDNEY, January 13. There were shooting tragedies in two suburbs this afternoon.
"""bra Plumb, aged 40, a carpenter, his wife Irene aged 26 and daughter Brenda, aged 2f, were each shot through the head at their , home at Summerhill. Plumb and his wife died to*-night and the child is in a critical condition.
The tragedy was the outcome of domestic troubles. The police say Plumb shot bis wife and child and then suicided.
The second shooting was at Enfield. Frederick Evenden aged 35, his wife Edith aged 27 were walking on Kembla road, Enfield, when somebody fired
a revolver, Mrs Evenden receiving a bullet in the chest and the husband a wound on the arm. The former is in a critical condition.
The police later visited a house at Burwood where they discovered Thomas Johnston aged 39, with a bullet wound in the mouth. He is not expected to 'recover.
CONDITION OF INJURIES. SYDNEY, January 14. Thomas Jarvis cabled last night died in the hospital. The baby Plumb is in a very low condition.
