N.S.W. SCORES BIG WIN. SYDNEY, Jan. 13. In the Sheffield Shield cricket match against New South Wales, South Australia in the first innings made 215. Grimmett scored 42, and Wall (not out) 33. In the howling Ohilvors took 4 for 57 and Fairfax 3 for 43. Following on, South Australia in the second innings made 100. In the bowling Fairfax took 4 for 19, and Chilvers 4 for 38. New South Wales won by an innings and 220 runs. The wicket to-day was seriously affected through w'eek-end rnin.
