The Cassel pplice in .1928, besieged the house of a farmer named Kl'ause, in a neighbouring village, and captuied it after two days’ fighting, in which lvlause junioF, and also a policeman, named Willie, were killed. Willie’s son, who is also, a policeman, and who is only twenty, recently joined the Force, quietly quitted his post at Frankfort yesterday, and whht to avenge his father’s death. He foioed an entrance into old Klause’s home and fired' eight shots, killing Klause instantly. He also wanted to kill Klause’s younger son, but he refrained in response to the lad’s, entreaties. Willie then surrendered to the police saying that he was unable to forget bis father’s death.
