[United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.]

NEW YORK, January 10

At Helton, in the State of Texas, thirteen indictments against A. B. Crouch, lately extradited 'from Helensville, Auckland, New Zealand, charging him with forgery, have been dismissed.

District Judge Breaster dismissed the indicitment to-day on the motion of the District Attorney. It is learned that Crouch left immediately after the dismissal of the cases to sail for New Zealand again, accompanied by his Wife. The Attorney for the City National Bank, which was the heaviest loser aihorig several Temple institutions involved, asked District Attorney Taylor to move for the dismissal of the charges. The District Attorney, Mr Taylor explained that the City National Bank had stated that Crouch had made restitution; and, since there was no other plaintiff, except that Bank, he (Attorney Taylor) was not opposed to the motion.

. Crouch gave a bond of thirty thousand dollars when he returned here several.weeks ago' and lived in Temple: j. The days of Crouch’s appearance in ■ Court had been fixed for the 21st of j January, but the City National Bank’s ; dispositions' to clear him' of the charges resulted in the motion being presented, to-day to dismiss the indictmerits.
