GOLD DREDGING.
Mr R. T. Stewart, Managing Director of the Okarito Gold Dredging Coy. has jqst returned from the property and reports everything in full swing after the Xmas holidays, and being pushed forward satisfactorily. The pipes are now all on the ground and being linked up. Something like 16 men are employed so that an early start will be made towards active operations on the property. The general opinion expressed is the successful results of this Company is only the forerunner of further development of our gold-bearing beaches on the Coast.
