NOTICES OF MOTION
I.—The Chairman to move:-—‘That the accounts'for the month of December, 1929,’ as revised a.nd recommended for payment by the Finance Committee, amounting to £—— be passed for payment.”
2—The Chairman to move:—“That Arthur Clifton, Esq., be re-appointed the representative ’of. the Council on the Hokitika High School Board of Governors for the ensuing term.”
3.—The Chairman to move:—“That public notice be given of the intention of the Council to add 10 per cent, to all rates, outstanding after the 6th. February next.”
---~4.—Cr. Donovan to move:—“That 'lhe Tfiirfee Mile Creek ferry, Okarito, be continued for a further period of six months as from the Ist. inst.”
o—Cr Donovan to move: —“That the Oemerua Bluff track he repaired and cleared of overgrowth at a cost not exceeding £6.”
6—Cr Donovan to move:—“That the lorry be employed for two weeks carting gravel for repairs to Wataroa Flat roads.”
SPECIAL MEETING
I—The Chairman to move:—“That Wednesday afternoon of each week, be accepted as the weekly half-holiday for the County of Westland for the ensuing year.”
