The Soviet Government has arbitrarily mobilised ten thousand Ingrian peasants at logging operations, with the object of reducing the cost of sawn timber, and aso of dumping the timber abroad.
The Soviet is also employing a large number of political prisoners in the textile industry. SOVIET LEADER SENTENCED. MOSCOW. Jan. 8.
M. Bcssedowsky lias been sentenced to ten months’ imprisonment and his property hits been confiscated. The court ordered an investigation into his relations with foreign agents.
