(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) MOTOR SMASH VICTIM. DARGAV-ILLE, January 9. The death took place at the Northern Wairoa Hospital T'e Kopura this morning of Vlervyn AfcCarroll, 25, single, one of the^ victims of the motor smash at Glenks Valley on Monday evening. Deceased, with two others, was motoring on Monday night on the beach in a home made racing car and in doing a sharp turn the front wheel collapsed. The car overturned penning McCarroll and G. Gates underneath. The other occupant, J. Elliott riding on the back of the c*ir, was thrown clear. McCarroll was extricated from the wreckage and it was found he was badly crushed, hut his injuries were not considered serious. He however, was taken to the hospital where complications set in, with a result he died last night. Gates suffered extensive bruises and Elliott was practically unhurt.
