MYSTERIOUS DEATH
WO WAVS SON ARRESTED. (United Press Association—By Electric telegraph—Copyright). (Received this day at 12.25. p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 8. The “Evening News” says the “Riddle of Room (>(),” as the mysterious death of Rosaline Fox is now known, has culminated in a charge of murder against Rosaline’s son, Henry, aged thirty, a medical student at present awaiting trial on a charge of fraud.
Mas Fox was found dead in Boom (id at the Hotel Metropole, Margate. A chair and carpet near the lire was smouldering.
At the inquest a verdict of death by misadventure was returned, but inquiries of a private detective on behalf of tne Insurance Companies led the Alargate fMilice to seek the aid of Scotland Yard, resulting in certain discoveries, including a medicinal capsule under n carpet in the bedroom. Tt, is. understood an exhumation of the body resulted in Sir Spilsbiirv reporting that Airs Fox died before the fire occurred.
