THE ROYAL WEDDING
ROME EXCITED. [United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.] ROME, Jan. G. The e>xci|tenient increases as the royal wedding day approaches. All of the great nations of the world will be represented at the ceremony. The Duke of York was everywhere acclaimed as he rode in state to the palace to greet the sovereigns on behalf of King George and Queen Mary. Thereafter he attended a brilliant reception at the Quirinal, receiving homage from Signor Mussolini, the members of the Italian Cabinet, and of the Ambassadors, Senators and Deputies. The Duke of York had a long chat with Signor Mussolini. The routes of all of the processions are densely lined with cheering people. The whole city is illuminated at night. A most piquant tonic is the presence of King. Boris of Bulgaria. This is arousing speculations as to his prospective engagement—which hitherto has always been denied—to Princess Giovanna.
