The present position of the teams is as follows:—New South Wales, 13 points; Victoria, 11; South ' Australia, 8; Queensland, 2. New South Wales and Queensland have played one 'more match than any other two. Five points are alowed for a win outright and three for a win for one innings, the loser on the first innings receiving two points.
