WIRELESS MARVELS

NATURAL BRAIN RECEIVERS. (United Press, Association—By Electric c. Telegraph—Copyright). LONDON, Jan. o. A remarkable suggestion that there are people, who owing to Some special conformation of the brain, are natural wireless receivers, has been advanced hy Leonard Avery, a distinguished physician. He illustrates a case by a patient of his acqnpaintanee in a mental hospital who is perfectly normal, except that he frequently hears, music, sometimes instrumental solos and songs, the latter in different languages which he does not understand. The man hums the music as he listens to tunes which are recognised by many people, but the mart himself does not know them. The “Daily Express” medical correspondent says the idea that a man may be a wireless receiver is in no wise ridiculous. It remains for science to discover whether there may not be individuals who, through the peculiarity of a special sense, receive and recognise impressions produced in them through ether.
