VICE-REGAL FAREWELL
AT AUCKLAND TOWN HALL. By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 5. A farewell was taken of the Governor General and Lady Alice Fergus,sou at a large gathering of citizens in tile Town Hall last night. The Alavor, Air G. Baiidon, presented to his Exeellenuy an address from the city expressing esteem and affection l : oj their Excellencies. Hon. J. B. .Donald and Hon. A. J. Stallworthy were on the platform. In replying, the Governor General referred to the happy days they had spent in New Zealand. Their Excellencies received an enthusiastic reception.
