COURT PROCEEDINGS. (Australian Press Association). SYDNEY, Jan. 3. Mr Justice Rich to-day referred in the Full Court to the application of the mine owners clialleng.ng the validity of Judge Beeby’s Federal Arbitration Court order for the re-opening of the coal mines at pre-stoppage rates of pay. r I he Full High Court Bench will sit at Mebourne on Tuesday, and it is likely that its judgment on the coal owners’ application will be delivered on the following morning. The Minister of Railways (Mr Weaver) stated that coal-hewing at Eotlibury was now in full swing, and the output was equal to that of normal times. No labourers had left the mine as had been alleged. The N.S.W. Railway Commissioners have decided to man trains, taking provisions into Ro-thbury, with men who are not members of the Railwaymen’s Union. UNION MINERS’ DECISION. SYDNEY, Jan 3. \ A conference of representatives from all the Northern miners’ lodges held at'Cessnock, decided that should the coal proceedings bqfore the Arbitration Court break down, all safety men be withdrawn from the northern pits and each mine be mass picketed.
